The team has been named mid-market private equity-backed management team of the year for the South East region, as part of the BVCA Management Team Awards 2015.
It is the third year in a row that Anesco has received the accolade, with the team going on to be named national winner in the previous two years.
The BVCA awards recognise management teams that have made an outstanding contribution to the growth of their company, demonstrating strategic vision and aiding the overall development of the business.
Anesco works with businesses, local authorities, housing associations and homeowners to reduce their carbon emissions. The company employs over 150 permanent members of staff and up to 600 contractors and 103 supply chain partners and logistics staff at any one time.
The firm was named the UK’s fastest growing private company by Sunday Times Fast Track in 2013 and again in 2014. Over its last three years the company recorded growth of 375% and has gone on to increase sales by a further 50% in the last financial year, achieving turnover of £160.2million and an EBITDA of £21million.
Adrian Pike, CEO of Anesco, said: “To achieve this award three years in a row is just amazing. We’re really proud of the team we have pulled together at Anesco and of the efforts of all of our staff. The whole team has played a part in the company’s ongoing success and as we continue to grow and expand we remain committed to employing the best people and investing in their development.”
Ian Moore, partner at CBPE Capital, said: “Receiving this award is fantastic news and really well deserved. Anesco continues to achieve phenomenal success and to move the industry forward thanks to the team’s innovative thinking, determination and vision.”
