LPG_130419_Anesco_0145 webNational energy efficiency solutions company Anesco has been named venture capital backed management team of the year for the south east region, for the second year running.

The prestigious BVCA Management Team Awards recognise management teams who have made an outstanding contribution to the development and growth of a venture-backed company, demonstrating strategic vision and helping to successfully develop the business.

Reading-based Anesco works with businesses, local authorities, housing associations and homeowners looking to reduce their carbon emissions. The company is approved as a Green Deal Provider and is recognised as the UK’s fastest growing private company.

At last year’s awards Anesco’s senior team was not only named regional winner, but went on to be awarded the national accolade.

Adrian Pike, CEO of Anesco, said: “We’re delighted that the dedication, drive and vision of the team we have at Anesco has again been highlighted on such a high profile stage. It is an amazing achievement, especially considering it is almost unheard of for a company to win two years in a row. The success of Anesco has always been achieved through strong team effort, so this award is recognition for the hard work that everyone in the organisation makes on a daily basis.”

Gary le Sueur, partner at Scottish Equity Partners said: “This award is further recognition of the outstanding team that has been pulled together at Anesco. The company continues to grow and drive the industry forward and we’re delighted to support it.”

The British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) is the industry body and public policy advocate for the private equity and venture capital industry in the UK. The BVCA Awards, produced in partnership with Clearwater Corporate Finance, are a year-long process of nominations and judging established to celebrate the achievements of private equity and venture capital-backed companies.

As a regional winner, Anesco will now go forward to a national final being held in London on 18 June.
